Digital Design / BIM Manager
Salary: £70,000
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Design / BIM Manager to join a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale fit out projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM professional with a strong MEP background to take responsibility for digital design coordination and BIM delivery across major projects.
The Role
*
Lead BIM and digital design processes across large fit out projects.
*
Manage digital design information from pre-construction through to project delivery.
*
Coordinate MEP, architectural and structural design information across project teams.
*
Manage BIM standards, processes, protocols and execution plans.
*
Use Revizto for model coordination, issue management and collaboration.
*
Lead clash detection and coordinate the resolution of design issues.
*
Review models and design information to identify coordination issues.
*
Work closely with design, project management, engineering and commercial teams.
*
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
*
Support project teams with BIM and digital construction requirements.
*
Provide guidance and training to project teams where required.
*
Monitor the quality and compliance of digital information.
*
Attend design and coordination meetings and provide technical input.
*
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through digital construction.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a BIM Manager, Digital Design Manager or similar.
*
Strong MEP/building services background is highly desirable.
*
Main Contractor or contractor-led project experience.
*
Experience working on large-scale fit out projects.
*
Strong understanding of BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination.
*
Practical experience using Revizto is essential.
*
Experience with Revit and other BIM coordination platforms is advantageous.
*
Good understanding of construction design and delivery processes.
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*
Relevant construction, engineering, MEP or BIM qualification is advantageous.
