As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, deliver measurable value, and develop strategic growth plans. Success in this role will be measured through customer retention, revenue growth, client satisfaction, and the development of long-term partnerships.

This opportunity would suit candidates from a variety of industries, including technology, professional services, SaaS, consulting, telecommunications, financial services, facilities management, utilities, and other customer-centric commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Growth

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across a portfolio of approximately 30–60 customer accounts.

* Develop and execute tailored account plans aligned to customer objectives and business priorities.

* Identify, position, and close upselling and cross-selling opportunities across products and services.

* Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximise value, improve performance, and achieve their desired outcomes.

* Drive customer adoption and engagement to ensure long-term success.

Commercial Ownership

* Own the renewal process and retention strategy across your portfolio.

* Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, pricing models, and commercial solutions.

* Lead contract renewal and negotiation discussions to maximise customer lifetime value.

* Deliver compelling presentations, recommendations, and business cases to senior stakeholders.

Customer Experience & Insight

Conduct regular business reviews, health checks, and satisfaction assessments.

Proactively identify risks and implement retention plans where required.

Champion the voice of the customer and provide feedback to Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.

Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience throughout the client lifecycle.

Data & Performance

Leverage customer data and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including retention, growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Deliver regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.

Product & Industry Expertise

Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and value proposition.

Stay informed on market trends, customer challenges, and industry developments.

Support customers in identifying innovative ways to maximise value from available solutions.

Essential

* Proven experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Partnership, Business Development, or Sales roles with commercial responsibility.

* Demonstrated success in retaining, growing, and developing customer accounts.

* Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.

* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels within an organisation.

* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable working remotely.

Desirable

* Experience managing B2B client relationships within technology, SaaS, professional services, consulting, utilities, telecommunications, financial services, or similar sectors.

* Experience using CRM platforms and customer success tools.

* Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

* Familiarity with contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and customer retention strategies.
