Location: University Hospital of North Tees, Hardwick Road, Stockton on Tees, TS19 8PE
Trust: North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: 15.67 - 19.10 per hour

Main duties of the job
* Provide dietary advise to malnourished patients including nutritional diagnosis, interpreting clinical conditions and creating effective care plans
* Act as an educator to care assistants/ students also based in the service
* Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of their condition
* Establish enteral feeding
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
* Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
* Degree or equivalent in Dietetics
* Enhanced DBS
* Extensive experience as a state registered dietitian in the NHS
* Ability to prioritise workload and set deadlines

Job description
The post holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Occupational Therapy within the designated area. Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence based/person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
