Job Title: Diesel Pump/Service Engineer
Location: Farnborough
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: upto £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Our client has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their team at their Farnborough Depot.
As one of their engineers, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of the company's range of HVAC/Diesel hire products, both on-site and at the depot.
Your main objective within this role is to ensure products perform to customer expectations and minimise future breakdowns.
As one of our Engineers, you will:
Responsibilities
Repairing & servicing machinery and equipment.
The diagnosis & rectification of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & functional
Ensuring down-time of essential machinery is minimised
Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard to meet expectations.
Ensuring that all work/maintenance is recorded and carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
The Candidate
Must have the ability to diagnose and repair machinery
Must have good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and electrics.
Must have welding experience.
Should be able to drive a forklift.
Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good time management skills
A UK driving licence
