Dialysis/Renal Field Service Engineer
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + bonus + Car/Allowance
Location: London Based / South
We are currently seeking a Field-Based Dialysis/Renal engineer to support our sites across the UK. In this role, you will ensure our patients receive exceptional care by maintaining and repairing medical equipment in our dialysis units.
This full-time position requires flexibility, as working hours may vary based on call-outs.
Key responsibilities as a Field-Based Engineer include:
Performing modifications, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of dialysis equipment.
Providing on-call service to ensure continuous patient treatment.
Following monitoring and control procedures to maintain equipment safety standards.
Completing all required documentation and service reports accurately and promptly.
Supporting the acceptance, commissioning, and installation of new equipment, as well as implementing technical modifications and upgrades.
Participating in the purchase and stock control systems for dialysis equipment spare parts to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Assisting the Technical Services Manager in the successful operation of the department and delivery of services as directed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Relevant qualifications in Medical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in maintaining medical equipment and devices.
Experience with renal/dialysis equipment is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Medical Devices regulations.
A methodical approach to troubleshooting and diagnosing technical faults.
A friendly, personable demeanor when interacting with teammates and patients.
Flexibility to travel and work some unsociable hours.
A clean driving license.

Experience:
Renal/Dialysis Devices: 2+ years (required)
Medical Equipment and Device Maintenance: 2+ years (required)
OEM Trained on at least 1 device
