Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

Glasgow region.
Basic Salary up to £42,000
Achievable earnings of £45,600
Uncapped bonuses.
42 hour working week.An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Prestige Car Dealership located in Glasgow.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
The ideal Motor Trade Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role.
Typical Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
MOT Testing
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsDiagnostic Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:
Level 3 Vehicle Technician – IMI/C&G
Electric/Hybrid qualification – Highly desirable
MOT Tester – Desirable
Able to use diagnostics to test for complex faults and rectify.
Confident in your ability to service and repair vehicles to a high standard.
Can complete job cards and paperwork correctly and efficiently.
Able to advise the Service/Parts department on parts and work needed.
Can work independently or as part of a team when needed.
Have your own tools for the job.
Full UK Driving licence – Essential. The salary of this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role is up to £45,600 OTE.
Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are 42 hour working week – Weekends on a rota.
