Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-franchise dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. This Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians to advance their careers within a modern, manufacturer-backed workshop.
Benefits:
Up to £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience
OTE £56,000 plus achievable bonus scheme
£500 joining bonus, with a further £500 after 12 months’ service

Genuine career progression opportunitiesDuties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and advanced repairs to manufacturer standards
Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
Ensure all repairs are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently
Maintain accurate workshop documentation
Support colleagues with technical guidance where required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Keep technical skills current through ongoing manufacturer trainingRequirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training available)
Minimum two years’ workshop experience
Full UK driving licence
