Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Diagnostic Technician or Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join a busy main dealership in Liverpool. Applicants must have strong automotive diagnostic experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. An MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential.
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Up to £39,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus
OTE: £48,000+
MOT Uplift: Additional £125 per month for qualified MOT Testers
Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rota

Diagnostic Technician Role
Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems to identify vehicle issues
Complete repairs to manufacturer standards
Support Vehicle Technicians with technical guidance and complex repairs
Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC) and identify additional work
Accurately complete diagnostic reports, job cards and repair documentation
Diagnostic Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ or equivalent)
Previous diagnostic experience within a main dealership or busy automotive workshop
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and fault-finding procedures
Confident using diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical data
Electrical fault-finding experience is highly desirable
Current MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essentialHow to Apply
