The Opportunity
A well-established commercial vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join its workshop team in the Greater Belfast area.
This is a key role within the workshop, focused on advanced fault finding and diagnostics across a modern fleet of commercial vehicles and vans.
The Role
Carry out advanced diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs, LGVs, and LCVs
Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues
Support workshop technicians with complex mechanical and electrical faults
Conduct servicing, repairs, and system testing where required
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards
Accurately complete diagnostic reports, job cards, and technical documentation
Assist with identifying recurring faults and improving repair processes
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
Strong background in electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault finding
Experience working on commercial vehicles (HGV, LGV, or LCV preferred)
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
Full UK driving licence
