Development/Project Manager
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Specific Job Requirements – To project manage a portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects from start to finish including stakeholder management, financial reporting and contractor management. Prince 2 or Equivalent and Degree level qualification in a relevant subject, e.g. Architecture, Urban Planning, Property, Construction, Engineering. Enhanced DBS.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Particular to the post 1.1. To lead all areas of client-side development and project management for complex, mixed-use capital redevelopment projects from feasibility studies to completion. 1.2. To establish strategic and operational project objectives, secure internal sign-off for those and communicate them effectively with the external professional team. 1.3. To direct the work of external professional teams to develop the relevant multi-disciplinary documentation and ensure NCC’s objectives are achieved. 1.4. To liaise with key external stakeholder groups, including local authorities, the GLA and neighbouring landowners. 1.5. To coordinate internal working groups in order to agree complex curriculum and management briefs, accommodation schedules etc. 1.6. To develop and implement effective internal and external engagement plans, including consultation activities relating to planning applications (in collaboration with the Group Executive Director of Marketing and Customer Service). 1.7. To proactively identify opportunities to secure funding and capital grants in support of project delivery, including preparation of funding applications and reporting on grant delivery and spend to funding bodies as appropriate. 1.8. To lead, facilitate and service project/team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
