Development Test Engineer – Outside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Development Test Engineer for an initial 12-month contract to support the planning, execution and reporting of Verification & Validation (V&V) activities within our clients engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and plan V&V activities.
* Create Test Plans, Test Protocols, Test Cases and Test Methods.
* Support test execution, anomaly management and reporting.
* Create and maintain test documentation and reporting templates.
* Review Test Plans, Test Results and technical documentation.
* Support continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.
Skills & Experience
* Good understanding of software behaviour and development.
* Understanding of control/command systems and physical/mechanical processes.
* Knowledge of qualification and statistical methods, including MSA and Six Sigma.
* Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
* Experience with tools such as Polarion, Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO).
* Good reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools.
* Basic understanding of scripting/pseudo-code such as Python, VBA or HTML.
