Description:
Our client a theatre located in Hammersmith is currently seeking a Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Development you will support the Director of Development in the formulation of strategies to develop income growth, in particular, from Trusts and Foundations.
Your responsibilities:
* Develop a sustainable fundraising strategy for Trusts and Foundations to work towards achieving the yearly trust income target.
* Steward existing relationships with Trusts and Foundations to the highest standard through consistent communication, report writing and creating opportunities for Trust representatives to attend the charity.
* Cultivate new relationships with Trusts and Foundations to generate support for the charity’s current and future programmes.
* Research, develop, write and deliver bids and pitches of the highest standard to Trusts and Foundations for the wide range of projects and activities.
About you:
* First-class written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent numeracy and budgeting skills.
* A passion for theatre, the arts, and working with young people.
* Demonstrable ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds at an individual level and in group situations, including excellent networking skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, target driven individual who is keen to develop a career within fundraising. Whilst experience in fundraising would be advantageous, we would love to hear from people with transferable skills and experience. You must have a proactive mindset with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities.
