Dispatch Team Lead
Location: Marlow
Pay Rate: £32,000 - £36,000 5% Bonus
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, 12:30pm finish on Friday)
This is a great opportunity for a Dispatch Team Lead to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment on a permanent basis, supporting the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders worldwide.
The role of Dispatch Team Lead will include:
Coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure products are shipped accurately, safely, and on time.
Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate shipping information within the ERP system.
Acting as the primary point of contact for post-order customer communications, providing delivery updates and shipment tracking information.
Preparing and verifying dispatch documentation including dispatch notes, commercial invoices, waybills, Certificates of Conformity (CoC), Certificates of Origin (CoO), ATR certificates, and customer-specific documentation.
Liaising with Trade Compliance, freight providers, and couriers to ensure successful domestic and international shipments.
Managing customer-specific packaging, labelling, and shipping requirements.
Maintaining accurate dispatch records and supporting document traceability requirements.
Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with workload planning and prioritisation activities.
The Dispatch Team Lead should have the following experience:
Previous experience within a dispatch, logistics, customer service, administration, or manufacturing support role.
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of production processes, operational metrics, and continuous improvement principles.
Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Experience within aerospace, defence, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance.
