Despatch Operative
Location: Swadlincote
Job Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Salary: Starting at £14.32 per hour (including shift allowance), progressing to £14.70 per hour after 3 months upon successful training and target achievement, with a highest skilled pay rate of £16.51.
Linkster Recruitment are proud to present an exciting opportunity with our manufacturing client located in Swadlincote, who is currently looking for experienced Despatch Operatives. This role offers a permanent position within a successful and growing company, with opportunities across multiple departments.
Main Duties - Despatch Operative:
* Prepare and package orders for dispatch, ensuring products are handled carefully and securely.
* Operate relevant machinery and equipment used in the despatch process.
* Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Additional Details - Despatch Operative:
* Weekly rotating day shifts: Mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday (05:00-12:40 / 13:00-20:40)

* Competitive salary starting at £14.32 per hour, with opportunities to increase up to £16.51 based on skill level and performance.
* There’s also the opportunity for overtime, paid at 1.5x and 2.0x rates.
