Desktop Analyst – 2nd Line Support

12 months Fixed Term Contract

Location: Cambourne - Salary: £29,119 - £32,532 + benefits + On-Call Allowance

CE Solutions are proud to be working with 3CICT, a shared service partnership between Cambridge City Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, and South Cambridgeshire District Council. They are seeking a Desktop Analyst to provide top-notch ITIL® 2nd line desktop support to their partner sites.

The role: As a Desktop Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of technical support, resolving ICT technical queries and issues across multiple locations. You will work with a close-knit team to ensure that our ICT systems run smoothly and efficiently, always aiming for a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities to include:

* Provide 2nd line desktop support for our customers across partner sites.

* Analyse and resolve a wide range of ICT technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

* Collaborate with a team of six Desktop Analysts, supported by two Team Leaders, to manage workload effectively.

* Participate in Out-of-Hours support based on a 1 in 3-week rotation, with additional payment for on-call work.

* Be physically present at one of our office locations for the large part of the working week, with travel between sites when necessary (out-of-pocket travel expenses reimbursed).

Please note this list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to carry out other commensurate duties as required.

The candidate: The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in Windows 10/11, Office 365 products including MS Teams, MS Azure, Active Directory along with Group Policy & Intune management.

It would be advantageous to have an awareness of:

* Hornbill ITSM

* Microsoft Autopilot (device builds) and Autopatch (security patching)

* Microsoft SCCM (packaging, deployments, and report creation)

* Microsoft Intune (Mobile & Policy Management)

* LanSweeper

* PatchMyPC

* Fundamental network principals and troubleshooting.

Salary: £29,119 - £32,532 + generous benefits package + On-Call Allowance
Location: Cambourne with occasional travel to other sites - While you will be primarily office-based at Cambourne, there is also the opportunity for remote work during specific projects or remote-based learning
Contract: 12 months FTC, Full-Time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) + On call working 1 in 3 weeks
