Deskside & Field IT Support Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Deskside / Field Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support across user devices, office locations and vehicle technologies.
Role overview
You will deliver 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, AV and basic network connectivity, ensuring issues are owned through to resolution and closed within agreed SLAs.newtab
The role involves regular travel to remote sites and working in both BAU and project-based environments as part of a wider IT operations team.
Key responsibilities

Provide deskside and field support for end-user devices, OS builds, imaging/reimaging and software troubleshooting.newtab

Manage and update incident and request tickets, delivering clear, user-friendly communications and regular ticket updates.newtab
*
Perform routine technology health checks, asset inventory, and end-user training on hardware and software.newtab
*
Support AV and event setups, including audio/video readiness and VIP/executive support.newtab
*
Assist with onsite and field IT operations, including smart hands activities, vehicle technologies and storm recovery operations.
Skills and experience
*
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in deskside / field IT support.newtab
*
Strong hands-on skills with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, Intune, Azure/AD, ServiceNow and common business applications.newtab
*
Good understanding of LAN, basic networking and video conferencing support.newtab
*
Excellent communication skills in English and local language, with a strong customer service mindset.newtab
*
Ability to work independently, prioritize tickets and meet SLAs in a fast-paced environment.newtab
*
Willingness to travel to remote offices and maintain relevant technical certifications
