Design Technology Teacher

Hays Education is working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in November 2026.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing school with a strong reputation for academic excellence, excellent leadership, and a positive learning environment. Teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback
Contributing to the wider life of the department and school
Full-time maternity cover from November 2026

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
