The Role
As a Teacher of Design & Technology, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Teach practical and theory-based elements of the Design & Technology curriculum.
Encourage creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills.
Support students in achieving their academic potential whilst developing practical skills.
Create a positive and productive learning environment.
Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and engagement.
We Are Looking For Teachers Who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.
Are confident teaching areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or related disciplines.
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
Have a passion for practical learning and creative education.
Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Are reliable, adaptable and professional in their approach.
Are committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
