Description:

Are you a Design Technology Teacher seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to start immediately in Dudley until the end of the academic year focusing on Product Design and resistant materials

This position is full time and will be teaching theory and practical Design Technology lessons up to GCSE. Knowledge on the Design Technology GCSE Curriculum is essential & a proven track record of delivering high quality GCSE results.

Duties of a DESIGN Technology Teacher:

Teaching & Delivering Design technology GCSE Curriculum
Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
Sit in on SLT Team Meetings, having a say on Key Decisions within the School
Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

To apply for this Design Technology Teacher role, you will need:

QTS in Design Technology ECT's please apply)
Strong Subject knowledge up to GCSE
Good behaviour management skills and be confident following school behaviour policies.
A substantial school reference.
Strong Subject knowledge up to GCSE
Previous experience working within a Secondary School Department
Experience working with machinery.
