North West London | Permanent | September 2026 Start
An exciting opportunity has become available for a creative and motivated DT Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials to join a successful secondary school in North West London from September 2026.
The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can inspire students through practical and engaging learning experiences while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour. The successful candidate will join a well-equipped department with excellent facilities and a strong commitment to innovation within Design Technology.
Responsibilities:
* Teach Design Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials across KS3 to KS5
* Deliver practical, engaging and differentiated lessons
* Promote creativity, problem-solving and technical skills
* Ensure a safe and effective workshop environment
* Monitor and assess student progress and attainment
* Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials
* Be confident teaching practical DT lessons
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
* Be committed to high standards and student achievement
* Have a passion for creative and technical education
