Description:
Our client, a leading consultancy firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Manager for a contract position based in Falmer.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing civil design elements of water sector projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
Leading a team of designers and engineers to deliver non-infrastructure and mixed bag AMP8 workloads
Providing expert guidance and direction on all aspects of civil design
Collaborating with Southern Water and CMDP through secondments to ensure successful project delivery
Coordinating with various stakeholders to align project goals and timelines
Managing project deliverables to comply with IR35 regulations
Ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the design team
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil design management within the water sector
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in using civil design software and tools
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Understanding of IR35 regulations and contract management
Ability to work three days a week from the Falmer office
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
