Salary: £up to £75k plus car/allowance and package

Search is working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who due to growth is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their team.

Role
Oversee the design and planning phases of construction projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all designs align with the company's objectives and client expectations.
* Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and
compliance with building codes and safety standards.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to design work, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Evaluate design proposals, drawings, and specifications, providing constructive feedback to team members.
* Facilitate communication between clients and design teams to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
Skills Required
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and design principles.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
