Linsco are currently recruiting for a design managers to start work for a reputable client of ours on sites across the east midlands.

You will be responsible for managing all design-related activities on a construction site, ensuring that all design specifications are met and integrated seamlessly into the project. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure design integrity and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all design activities on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop and refine project designs.
Coordinate design changes and updates, ensuring timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders.
Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and materials to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
Ensure that all design work is compliant with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with design specifications.
Identify and resolve any design-related issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
Liaise with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction activities.
Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation, including design changes, approvals, and as-built drawings.
Manage the design approval process, ensuring that all design work is approved by relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Implement and manage change control processes when necessary.
Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel regarding design and construction methods.
