Job Title: Design Manager

As the go-to Design Manager for projects, you'll lead the reconstruction & construction phase design deliverables,ensuring co-ordination right through to client handover stage.

Your Responsibilities:
Manage the Design on multiple projects throughout Pre-Construction and during construction.
Chair Design Coordination meetings with the Design Team for each project.
Manage the flow of information between all key stakeholders - consultants/sub-contractors/site/client.
Manage the use of the common data environment with the assistance of a document controller - Viewpoint 4Projects.
Produce the Design Release Schedule in coordination with the project programme and procurement schedule.
Monitor the release of design information against the agreed Design Release Schedule.
Coordinate the Design Team and Specialist designing subcontractors.
Provide technical advice as necessary to the Client/project teams.
Encourage innovative cost-effective solutions.
Required Skills:
Experience as a Design Manager working on refurbishment and extension projects.
Able to take responsibility & be accountable.
An enthusiastic and determined team player.
Build and manage strong relationships.
Key skills: Construction, design, sustainable, preconstruction
