They are an integrated contracting and property development company with experience in design, construction and long-term operation of residential and public buildings.
Your new role
As the Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of this complex residential project. Your responsibilities will include:
Design Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop design solutions that meet project requirements.
Manage design changes, ensuring they align with the project scope and budget.
Project Planning:
Work closely with the project team to establish design milestones and deliverables.
Monitor progress and address any design-related issues promptly.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control processes to maintain design integrity throughout construction.
Review design documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to address design queries and approvals.
Foster positive relationships with all project stakeholders
Risk Management:
Identify potential design risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Design Manager on residential projects.
Familiarity with JCT contracts and construction industry standards.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
