Description:
We are seeking a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager with experience in similar roles to lead all projects in our client's portfolio. The latest project, due to begin soon is worth over £7 million. This role involves overseeing the project through all stages and managing key stakeholders in collaboration with the pre-construction team.
Upon starting, the Design Manager will be responsible for all design and technical aspects of the project, ensuring that design packages delivered by professional consultant teams are accurate and of high quality for the construction teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
In this role, you will ideally demonstrate a strong track record in pre-construction and project delivery, particularly in design management for large-scale construction projects, especially residential. Experience in a similar role, such as Design Manager or Design Coordinator within a main contracting environment, focusing on high-end residential buildings, would also be desireable.
