Our client are a luxury privately-owned developer renowned for creating exceptional homes in Surrey and beyond. The team are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of luxury living, and are now seeking a talented Design Manager to join the ranks.

**Job Summary:**

We're looking for an experienced and skilled Design Manager to lead the design team in creating stunning, high-end residential developments. As Design Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that their projects meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and functionality. You'll work closely with their development team, architects, and contractors to bring their vision to life, while maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead the design team in developing innovative, high-end residential designs that meet our clients luxury brand standards
* Manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction
*Master planning and feasibility studies experience
* Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices across all projects
* Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during construction
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, including development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure design aligns with business objectives
* Manage and mentor junior design team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design offerings
* Develop and manage design budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources
* Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, codes, and standards

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a design management role, preferably in the luxury residential sector
* Proven track record of delivering high-end design projects on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding design teams
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
* Proficiency in design software
* Strong understanding of building regulations, codes, and standards
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Passion for luxury design, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional results
