The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, with a particular focus on temporary installations. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of electrical systems and temporary work requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, with a focus on temporary works including site power, temporary lighting, and temporary distribution systems.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately determine the scope of work and required resources.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
Conduct site visits to understand the project environment and specific requirements for temporary works.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services.
Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with the initial estimates and identifying any deviations.
Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to electrical and temporary works.
Utilize estimating software and other tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process.
Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, ensuring they reflect the scope and cost of temporary works.
