FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Design Engineer/ Draftsperson. This is a permanent role based in Dartmouth for a client in the marine sector. Salary is negotiable by experience, competitive package with career advancement. Relocation assistant available if relevant.
Responsibilities:
Developing designs for marine vessel ribs (electrical and mechanical design)
Using CAD software in creating designs
Attending and liaison with internal project teams and provide advice/insight on design progress
Skills & Experience required for the Design Engineer role:
Experience as a draftsperson or design engineer within the marine sector or similar
CAD software expertise
Strong knowledge of design principles, materials and manufacturing process relating to marine construction
Qualified to HND or above in a relevant discipline/field.
