Design Engineer – Conveyor Systems
Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for their client in the Widnes area, an exciting opportunity to work for an organisation that are at the forefront of innovation and manufacturing within materials handling and special purpose equipment.
Due to immediate growth plans and expansion, they are looking for a Design engineer with the following: -
* Degree educated as a minimum.
* Experience working with material handling and conveyor systems.
* Strong mechanical skills, with additional knowledge of electrical switches and motors.
* Previous experience with Autodesk inventor, AutoCAD.
As a Design Engineer you will: -
* Create 3D models / generation of detailed design (assembly’s & components).
* Carry out calculations, FMEA, manuals, risk assessments.
* Take responsibility for all your own designs throughout the project delivery.
* Liaise with sales / production and operations to ensure cost-effective and design for manufacture.
* Support and liaise with external parties throughout project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with internal, external legislation.
* Attend internal / external design reviews.
This is a permanent position working a day shift Monday to Friday 39 hours.
Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience.
