Contract Opportunity - Design Engineer (Baggage Handling Systems) - Competitive Rate (Outside IR35)
A leading engineering company has secured several high-profile projects and is looking for a Design Engineer with experience in mechanical handling systems. The successful candidate will support the design of advanced baggage handling systems, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the project.
This is a site-based role in Humberside with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
Design mechanical handling systems.
Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), phasing plans, and other project documentation.
Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.Skills & Experience
Experience designing mechanical handling systems.
Previous baggage handling systems experience.
Proficiency in Revit.
Ability to produce BOMs, phasing plans, and project documentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
