My client a leading manufacturer based in the Gloucester area is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Operating within a technical engineering environment with tight deadlines and changing demands.
Responsibilities - Design Engineer
Designing and detailing of hydraulic components
Producing technical documentation to support designs
Undertaking hand calculations to support designs
Creating bills of materials
Required Skills/experience - Design Engineer
Mechanical engineering experience ideally with knowledge of hydraulics
Highly competent in 3D modelling using Solidworks
Hands background within design and manufacturing
Ideally apprentice trained and/or educated to HNC/HND level
