(Design Engineer) - Position Overview
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
Utilise CAD software to develop detailed designs and technical drawings in accordance with project specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the viability and safety of propose designs.
Perform through analysis and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
Generate comprehensive documentation, including design reports, drawings and bill of materials.
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the manufacturing and implementation phases in design engineering.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements and best practices in design engineering.
Actively participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance and efficiency.
(Design Engineer) - Position Requirements
Proven experience working as a Design Engineer, preferably within manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proficiency in CAD software, such a SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation, with a desire to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
(Design Engineer) - Position Remuneration
Salary of £35k+, Dependent on experience
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm
Friday 9am - 12:30pm
5 hrs per week
