Description:

My client is a well established manufacturing business located in Norfolk. A global leader within their sector, they are looking for a design development engineer to join their existing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual, a varied engineering role focusing on the development of new and existing products.

The role will involve;

*Prototype design and build
*3D CAD
*Looking at existing products and processes to reduce cost
*Material analysis and cost reductions
*Looking at test results and reducing warranty failures
*Liaising with all departments to communicate findings and improvements
*Engineering projects to drive change and improve processes
*Identifying commercial opportunities for new products

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas;

*Time served experience of product design to manufacture
*Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
*Project management experience
*Continuous improvement knowledge
