Join a leading main contractor on a large £90M mixed-use residential project. Our client is committed to making a positive impact on the local community by increasing the availability of affordable housing, working closely with the local council.

This exciting opportunity involves overseeing a development comprising three blocks. Two of these blocks are towers, while the third is a more traditional three-story residential block. The project also includes commercial space and extensive landscaping of the surrounding areas.

Responsibility:

* Manage and coordinate the design process to ensure timely and efficient delivery

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance

* Lead design coordination meetings and communicate effectively with all project team members alongside the Senior Design Manager

* Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

* Facilitate communication with stakeholders and community members, fostering positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with a main contractor on similar scale projects in a design management or coordination role

* Strong background in residential construction projects

* Demonstrated ability to lead meetings

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings

* Experience in engaging with stakeholders and community members is highly desirable

Additional Skills (not a must but a bonus!):

* Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
