Job Title: Design Co-ordinator – High end residential & commercial glazing

Location: Taunton, Somerset.

Salary: Competitive & negotiable dependant on experience

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities Design co-ordinator role:

* Sending out of design packs (project information, scope of works, drawings) to our ‘work from home’ design team.

* Answering questions that the design team may have about a project (collating notes from the sales team to pass on to the design team).

* Ensuring that the design team adhere to the timelines given to them, so that the client receives our design drawings within the agreed timescale, or before where possible.

* Issuing drawings to our clients for comment or approval & liaising with clients regarding questions or any changes required.

* Instructing and managing drawing changes via the design team.

* Taking projects up until design approved status for the project to then move onto the buying and project management teams for material procurement and installation scheduling.

* The ability for the role to move into design management if the applicant can show development within the role.

Requirements for Design co-ordinator role:

* Ability to use AutoCAD would be preferable.

* Strong communication skills are a key to this role (written and spoken).

* Strong organisation skills.

* The ability to be able to use Outlook for emails, excel and word for monitoring works.

* The ability to use the Salesforce CRM system would be preferable although full training is provided, and this system is generally managed by a subteam working in the design department.

* The ability to understand and read drawings would be preferable.

* An interest in construction, architecture, engineering or interior design would be an advantage.

* Experience of working in a team environment.

* Must live within a reasonable commutable distance of TA2 8GR.
