I'm recruiting for a Design Applications Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
Overview
The Design Application Engineer will assist in converting customers' requirements into product that can be designed, manufactured and supported by the company.
Role & Responsibility
Utilize CAD systems to provide detailed drawings, manufacturing documentation and preparing cost estimates
Manage customer requirements for the company's products
Prepare commercial responses and proposals for both direct customers and company projects.
Support new product development projects and report on development tests.Personal Specification
Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
Experience with conception, assembly design, or tooling.
Competency creating CAD drawings - SolidWorks.
