Are you a creative and technically skilled individual ready to take on an exciting new role? GSL Education Kent are looking to recruit DT Technicians for leading schools in Tunbridge Wells for long-term opportunities starting in September 2024.
As a DT Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education in Design and Technology. Your expertise will help inspire and guide students, fostering their creativity and technical skills in a dynamic and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, and manage resources and equipment for DT lessons.
Support teaching staff in delivering practical lessons, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Provide technical assistance to students, guiding them through projects and encouraging their development.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of workshop spaces, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications or experience in Design, Technology, or a related field.
Strong technical skills with an understanding of current technology and design tools.
A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, with adherence to all safeguarding protocols and background checks.
