Design & Technology Teacher - Location: Rugby
Start Date: September 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Contract: Full-Time - Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Rugby area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons to secondary-aged students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - highly desirable.
Have previous UK secondary school teaching experience.
Be confident teaching Design & Technology across secondary age ranges.
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Have a positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
