Head of Design & Technology (with Engineering Experience)

Full Time | September Start

An ambitious and rapidly improving secondary school in East London is seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Design & Technology with strong Engineering experience to lead its thriving department from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking practitioner to shape the vision and delivery of a dynamic DT curriculum, with a strong focus on Engineering, innovation, and real-world application. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching and learning, raising attainment, and ensuring students develop the technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills needed for future pathways in STEM and related industries.

The DT department plays a vital role in developing practical skills, creativity, and resilience, with Engineering forming a key strand of learning and enrichment.

The successful candidate will:
