Are you a creative and committed Design and Technology Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of designers and makers? Academics is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Calderdale seeking a dynamic Design and Technology Teacher to start as soon as possible.
????️ The Role:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons across KS3 and KS4
Specialise in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering (depending on experience)
Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and technical skills in the classroom
Contribute to a collaborative and well-resourced department
Inspire students to explore and enjoy the world of design and technology✅ What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching D&T in a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and practical skills
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a student-centred approach
