Design and Technology teacher - full time - September - Rochdale
Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology to join a school in Rochdale from September on a full time basis until Easter 2025. It is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design and Technology department at a secondary school in the UK.
The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required.

Hours 8:30AM 4PM
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date FGM & behaviour management training (essential, training can be provided)
Design and Technology teaching experience in the UK
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one
Provide a minimum of two professional references
