PK Education are currently searching for candidates interested in the following role:
Vacancy: Product Design Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Start Date: September
Duration: 1 Term (extension to be discussed nearer to the end of the initial term.)
Rate of Pay: £120 - £180 per day
School Details: This is a rapidly expanding school with high expectations for the futures of its pupils. The school benefits from outstanding resources including its newly purpose built site.
Job Role: To teach Product Design to KS4 and KS5. There may also be a requirement to teach other subjects in DT but this will not be an extensive part of the timetable. There will also be the need to assist with extra curricular activities as well as parents evenings etc.
Candidate Requirements: To have a qualification to teach Product Design, or to have experience of teaching the subject within the last few years if you are qualified in another subject area. A full enhanced DBS will be required as well as good quality supporting references. Certificates to allow for use of Resistant Materials machinery would be an advantage but not mandatory.
