We’re recruiting a hands-on Deputy Store Manager who can turn a busy day into a great day - for customers, colleagues and the business.

You’ll be the Store Manager’s trusted partner, helping drive sales, develop your team and keep the operation running smoothly. When they’re away, you’ll take the lead, making decisions and keeping everyone focused, supported and motivated.

Deputy Store Manager - Your next challenge:

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting involved. From spotting opportunities to improve sales to coaching a colleague through something new, you’ll have a real influence on how the store performs.

You’ll:

* Lead from the front: Set the pace on the shop floor, support your colleagues and create a team people want to be part of.

* Make the numbers count: Use sales figures and KPIs to identify opportunities, control costs and improve performance.

* Get the details right: Keep availability, presentation and service standards high so customers enjoy a consistently great experience.

* Build confidence and capability: Coach your team, recognise great work and help people take their next step.

* Take ownership: Manage the store in the Store Manager’s absence, handling challenges and making confident decisions.

* Keep things running safely: Maintain strong standards across stock, cash handling, security and compliance.

Deputy Store Manager - What you’ll bring:

You’re an experienced retail manager who knows that strong results start with a well-supported team. You’re approachable, commercially aware and happy to roll up your sleeves when things get busy.

We’re looking for:

* Proven retail management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop others.

* A track record of delivering great customer service and working towards performance targets.

* Strong organisation and the confidence to juggle priorities in a fast-paced store.

* A practical approach to solving problems and getting things done.

* Flexibility to support different stores when required.
