Social Care Reablement (SCR) is a short term intervention service, supporting people to regain their independence through working towards personal goals in their own home.
We are looking to recruit a deputy manager to work with, and deputise for, the service manager to support the efficient provision of the reablement service, keeping people at the forefront and promoting a strengths based approach. The deputy manager will manage a group of team leaders and support clerks, have oversight of the reablement support worker team and contribute to meeting the standards set by our regulatory body, the CQC. The job entails maximising service capacity and responding to service need, being adaptable to changes and liaising with DCC and health colleagues to ensure people’s best outcomes are achieved.
The role also includes oversight and management of a web based rota system and electronic care recording systems. Excellent communication skills, effective ICT skills with a commitment to equality, diversity and good customer service are essential.
