Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer Location:
Home-based Salary: Up to £36,600 per annum

Due to growth, We're seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer to ensure the safety and welfare of the learners.
Reporting to the Quality Development and Improvement Manager & Designated Safeguarding Officer/Lead, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Designating Safeguarding Officer:
Collaborate with Apprenticeship Skills Coaches, Tutors, and employers to enhance awareness of safeguarding risks
• Identify training needs and deliver sessions to enhance staff knowledge
• Establish links with external agencies and provide support on safeguarding matters
• Facilitate safeguarding meetings and provide regular updates on at-risk learners' progress
• Analyse data and stay updated on policies and legislation
• Contribute to internal audits and regulatory visits
Requirements of the Designated Safeguarding Officer
Experience in a similar role with up-to-date knowledge of legislation and guidance
Experience working within Work Based Learning and up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship standards
Proven track record in training and learning and development, with experience if facilitating training sessions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
