Description:

We are proud to be recruiting for a Deputy Production Manager, within the food industry, for a company, just outside of Bury St Edmunds.

This is a permanent opportunity with a salary between £30-£32k, within a company with genuine values who are true to their mission.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee production activities to ensure the smooth operation of processes
• Support the management of the production team
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement in production efficiency
• Focus on waste reduction initiatives to optimize resources

Requirements:
• Proven team management experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong passion for continuous improvement with evidence of successful implementation
• Naturally resilient with a track record of overcoming challenges
• Demonstrated satisfaction in achieving results
• Proven experience in waste reduction strategies
• Proven team player with a great attitude to work!
• Personable management style

Working Hours:
• 0730 to 1830 Mon to Thur (10 hour shift plus 2x30min unpaid breaks).
• Overtime required on Fridays
