We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our leadership team at . Our beautifully maintained 44-bed home specialises in premium nursing, dementia, and exceptional end-of-life care. Working closely alongside our Registered Manager, you will take charge of clinical excellence, lead our nursing staff, and foster a warm, "home away from home" atmosphere for our residents.
This is a fantastic career move for an ambitious Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead looking to step into an established, 'Good'-rated CQC facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical Excellence: Oversee the daily clinical operations of the home, maintaining our strong track record of high-quality care.
* Staff Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support the care and nursing teams, including rota management, supervisions, and clinical performance appraisals.
* Care & Governance: Ensure person-centred care planning, medication audits, and compliance with clinical governance standards and CQC regulations.
* Palliative Care: Support the home's renowned reputation for delivering compassionate end-of-life care.
* Deputising: Take responsibility for the home and lead the staff in the Registered Manager's absence, acting as a direct point of contact for families and healthcare professionals.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications: A Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid, active NMC PIN.
* Experience: Proven track record as a Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, or Senior Nurse within an elderly care or dementia nursing environment.
* Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical auditing, safeguarding procedures, and CQC frameworks.
* Traits: A compassionate leader with excellent communication skills, dedicated to promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
