Deputy Nursery Manager (Part-Time)

Are you passionate about early childhood education and seeking a rewarding role in a nurturing environment? We're currently looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team at our Nursery in Handsworth, Birmingham. This is a part-time position, offering 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations, including staff management, curriculum development, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Assist in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Lead by example, providing guidance and support to staff members in delivering quality childcare and education.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader within a nursery setting.
Hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Children's Play.
First Aid training is desirable but not essential.
Ability to provide two references: one from a previous employer and another as a character reference.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
