OFFERING THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Play a key role and be responsible for the effective management, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people. To ensure delivery of care and education plan objectives. To take responsibility for specified aspects of safeguarding within the home
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the objectives and standards of the new Statement of Purpose relates to the range of provision for our Client
OFFERING:
* 39 or 45-hour contract available
* 39 hr salary: starting £30,034.68 + £40 per sleep / AL 218.4 hours per year
* 45 hr salary: starting £34,655.40 + £40 per sleep / AL 252 hours per year
* Salary rises after 6 month probation, 2 years service and then 4 years service
MUST hold Level 3 diploma working with children & young people or equivalent - this is essential!
4 bedded Residential Home currently with 3 young people (boys) however is a mixed gender home
Includes shift work and up to 2 sleep in's per week
SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND TEAM IS A TOP PRIORITY FOR THE CLIENTS HOME AND THE RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE IS DESIGNED TO EMPHASISE COMMITMENT TO SAFEGUARDING. THE PROCEDURE WILL AS A MINIMUM INCLUDE AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK, CAREFUL SCRUTINY OF APPLICATIONS, VERIFICATION OF APPROPRIATE QUALIFICATIONS AND ACQUIRING REFERENCES.
